Delighted with my motion sensor light bulb which I ordered on Tuesday evening and received this morning (Thursday). Couldn't really have asked for a faster turnaround by KGGlobal and the product arrived protectively packaged and with good instructions on how to set and use it.

We moved into a new house last week which has an integral garage accessed by a door from the hall. However the lighting has been installed on the assumption that the lightswitch should be beside the main garage door, rather than the door from the house. Even after a few days this was proving a bit of a pain given that we're in the garage several times a day and it houses our freezer and cat litter trays. I was looking at having another switch put in until I stumbled across this product. Now the light switches on as soon as it detects you entering garage, and back off again shortly after you've left. It's even sensitive enough to pick up the movement of our cats and light their way to the litter trays!

One very useful feature is the adjustment that saves the light coming on depending on the amount of natural daylight in the room. Our garage has glass sections in the main door so doesn't really need to come on during the day - though I'd have lived with that for the convenience. After a bit of experimentation today it only switches on when you enter the room after dusk, what more could you ask for at £18! Another reviewer mentioned that this seems a bit pricey for a bulb, but if it lives up to the claimed 20,000 switches on and off then I reckon you'd end up quids in!

First class product.

Bought this for the landing, for a disabled person who does not have a free hand for a light switch and who was frightened of toppling down the stairs (sense of balance requires visual input). I was a bit concerned as we have a deep lampshade, but the detector is at the bottom of the bulb, not up near the fitting, so it is just at the lower end of the shade, and gives 360 degree detection area, and reaches to the bottom of the stairs.

Solved the problem totally. Set the controls (timing and lux level) to midway, plugged it in and not had to adjust it at all.

At the moment do not need one elsewhere, but if the need arises I will not hesitate.

Highly recommended for areas used by the vulnerable.

I placed the order one 14.10.10 they arrived 15.10.10 i was amazed how quickly they arrived. I had the product delivered to my office. Instantly everyone was intrigued. Amazed that you can now get a pir attached to an energy saving bulb.

Fair enough the product itself is pretty pricey for a single bulb but wow they work well.

Within a minute they were in the socket and working, i originally bought these due to the fact i kept stubbing my toe on a really annoying step half way up my corridor. The light switches for which are 1/2 way up and at the end of the corridor.

Now i open the door and instantly the lights come on. A very bright bulb simulating daylight.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to light a space without having to install a separate pir sensor.
