A scart adapter for converting a scart connector to 3 x phono (video + audio left & right) & s-video.

The signal direction is set by an In/Out switch.

These adapters allow you to connect video via phono (composite) or 4 pin mini din(s-video) and audio left and right via phono connectors into a standard scart socket.

The adapter features a direction switch so it may be used for video and audio into the adpater or video and audio from the adapter.

They are often used to connect items such as a PC or camcorder to a standard scart socket.

If using the s-video input it must be connected to an s-video compatible scart socket, most modern televisions have at least one scart socket which is s-video compatible.
